Jubilee South Asia Pacific Movement on Debt and Development (JS APMDD) Nepal members met on 15 September 2011 in Kathmandu to review and plan the country-based campaign activities related to climate finance and climate justice, debt, sovereign, responsible and democratic finance and tax justice.

The meeting reviewed and discussed the activities performed till date and planned some campaign activities for the rest of year 2011 and first quarter of year 2012.The meeting agreed to undertake the activities under the banner of Campaign for Climate Justice Nepal (CCJN) which is a network of JS APMDD member organisations in Nepal.The CCJN decided to implement campaign activities before the end of 2011 to oppose the role of World Bank and other IFIs in managing Green Climate Fund (GCF).

The meeting was jointly coordinated by Ms. Lidy Nacpil, the Regional Coordinator of Jubilee South Asia/Pacific Movement on Debt and Development (JS APMDD) and Dr. Sarba Raj Khadka, Director of RRN/SAAPE. The meeting was attended by the representatives of JS APMDD member organisations- Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN), South Asia Alliance for Poverty Eradication (SAAPE), All Nepal Peasants’ Federation (ANPFa), General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT), Jagaran Nepal, All Nepal Women’s Association (ANWA), and National Alliance for Human Rights and Social Justice (HR Alliance) Nepal.
