WASH facilitators- 6 nos.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate education and awareness programs in a community like Hygiene sessions, Total sanitation campaigns, awareness training and demonstration, school WASH promotion activities, etc.
  • Community mobilization for construction of small drinking water supply systems and sanitation systems in schools, communities, and health institutions.
  • Conduct public auditing in each infrastructure support project and other activities and community scorecard exercises at the ward level.
  • Coordination with local government and wards level stakeholders.

 

Qualification & Required Skills:

  • Intermediate degree with at least five years of relevant experience in water sanitation and hygiene promotion projects.
  • Good social mobilization and coordination skills
  • Good community meeting, awareness program, and training facilitation skill
  • Having experience in implementing water supply systems and sanitation systems
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment

 

 

Work Stations

WASH officer will be based in Chitwan district office with more than 60% time to project area (Ichhakamana rural municipality, Kalika Municipality). Sub-engineer will be based at Chitwan district office or site office Kurintar with more than 60% time to project area. WASH facilitators will be based at project wards of Ichhakamana rural municipality and Kalika municipality with responsibility for 2 wards each.
